This plant-based milk recipe is easy to make and whips up in a blender in seconds. It makes a nutritious addition to smoothies, chia pudding, and cereals.
Ingredients
1 C. unsalted raw cashews
¼ tsp. Spirulina (Blue Algae)
6 C. filtered water
½ tsp. sea salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Optional: 2 pitted dates or 1 Tbs. raisins
Instructions
Soak the cashews in 2 cups of water for six hours or overnight.
Drain the cashews in a sieve and add to a blender
Add 4 cups of fresh filtered water to the blender
Add all other ingredients and blend on high for 30 – 60 seconds.
Keep refrigerated.
