The combination of this Avocado Banana Smoothie makes for a delicious and nutritious quick start to your day.  Avocado is a source of healthy fat; bananas provide catechin, an antioxidant that helps reduce inflammation and oxidative stress. Both are excellent for weight maintenance and overall health.

Ingredients

1 cup almond milk

1 small frozen banana

1 tablespoon natural peanut (or almond) butter

1/3 avocado

1 cup spinach

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

Instructions

Pour almond milk into the blender.

Add additional ingredients and blend until smooth.
