Avocado on Sourdough Toast with Sunflower Seeds

Avocados are incredibly nutritious.  They are loaded with fiber and contain vitamins A, C, B6, and the heart-healthy potassium.  Coupled with sunflower seeds, a primary source of Vitamin E (lowers cholesterol) on easy-to-digest sourdough toast makes this a perfect way to start your day!

Ingredients

½Hass Avocado
½Lime
1 tbsp.Sunflower Seeds
1 slice Whole Wheat or Rye Sourdough bread

Instructions

Mash the avocado and lime juice.  Toast the sourdough.  Spread the mashed avocado on the toast and top with sunflower seeds. 

Pea or broccoli sprouts are also another great topping
