Blueberry Nice Cream in Cantaloupe

This is a great fruit-filled dessert, especially for people who are lactose intolerant, and for the many of us striving to reduce sugar in our diets.  Use over-ripe bananas to increase the sweetness.  Fresh or frozen blueberries are okay to use.


3 very ripe bananas

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

2 cups blueberries

1 cantaloupe


Blend the bananas, almond milk, and blueberries until thoroughly blended

Spread evenly in a freezer safe container

Freeze for at least 3 hours, if you want a firmer consistency

Cut the cantaloupe in half and scoop out the seeds

Scoop the nice cream into the cantaloupe and serve
