This Berry Chia (Rosehip) Fresca is equally beautiful and delicious. It is a perfect cooler for hot days and is full of many beneficial nutrients.
Ingredients
4 cups/960ml filtered water (divided use)
1 cup/ 186g fresh or frozen mixed berries such as raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries
2 Rosehip tea bags
2 Tablespoons/30ml raw honey or a few drops of stevia instead
2 Tablespoons/24g chia seeds
Instructions
Bring 2 cups of the water to a boil. Add the tea bags and brew for 20 minutes.
Remove tea bags and add to that two cups of chilled water.
Place the cooled brewed tea, berries, and sweetener of your choice in a high-speed blender and blend until completely smooth. Strain the mixture through a sieve, reserving only the liquid.
Pour into a pitcher and stir in chia seeds. Place in fridge until well chilled.
Serve over ice.
