As the summer months heat up, this Coconut Water Lemonade can be a good source of hydration. Coconut water helps replace lost salt because of sweating and the vitamin C in fresh lemons provides overall benefits to skin, eye, and immune system health.

Ingredients

4 C. canned coconut water

5 Tbsp. Freshly squeezed lemon juice

3 limes (extract the juice, optional)

3 Tbs. Agave nectar

2 lemons (sliced)

2 cups ice

mint leaves for garnishing

Instructions

Slice the lemon into pieces, set aside

In a pitcher, combine the coconut water, lemon juice, lime juice, and agave nectar, together.

Stir to mix well. Add the sliced lemons and ice into the pitcher.

Pour the lemonade into glasses and garnish with mint leaves.
