Cucumber Dill Smoothie

Cucumbers are 96% water.  Most of the hydration comes from its skin which also contains vitamin C and caffeic acid.  Both elements help soothe skin irritations and reduce swelling.  The dill in this recipe is high in calcium, iron, and magnesium.  This tasty smoothie will keep you cool as a cucumber.


1 English Cucumber

½ Lemon, juiced

A ½ cup of water

5 sprigs of Dill

1 tbsp. pistachios

A ½ cup of ice cubes


Add all to a blender and blend until smooth.  Enjoy immediately.
