This Easy Breakfast Parfait is featured for diabetics but it is also an excellent meal for anyone. Greek yogurt has important immune system properties and includes healthy fat and protein. The nuts and chia seeds bring fiber helping your feel fuller longer and maintain steady blood sugar levels. And it can be made the night before.

Ingredients

3.7 oz Fresh ripe fruit, or frozen

1/2 cup Greek yogurt

1/4 cup sliced almonds

2 Tbs.  desiccated coconut

1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

2 Tbs. sunflower seeds

 

Instructions

Layer the ingredients into 2 glasses starting with the berries, almonds, sunflower seeds, and coconut, a sprinkle of cinnamon

Top with Greek yogurt

Repeat until all the ingredients are used
