This Iced Ginger Honey Lemon Tea is healthy, delicious, and hydrating. Ginger, honey, and lemon all have medicinal benefits. This tea is great for a queasy stomach, supports digestion, and is a refreshing treat.
Ingredients
4-5 inches fresh ginger peeled and sliced
6 cups water
juice and zest of 1 lemon
1/2 cup honey
fresh mint and lemon slices for garnish optional
Instructions
Combine ginger slices, water (6 cups), and lemon zest in a pot and boil. Turn off the heat, cover, and steep for 30-45 minutes.
Strain using a mesh sieve into a pitcher. When it’s cooled off, add honey and lemon juice and stir until the honey is dissolved.
Allow it to cool. If desired, serve over ice with a garnish of fresh mint and lemon slices.
