Ingredients

1¼ cups plant-based milk (almond, cashew, hemp, coconut)
1 tablespoon fresh or culinary lavender
¼ cup chia seeds
1½ tablespoons pure maple syrup
½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
pinch of sea salt

Instructions

Add nut milk to a small pot and heat until warmed through.

Turn off the heat and add the culinary lavender to the pot.

Cover and let steep for 15 minutes.

Pour the liquid through a fine-mesh strainer.

Add the nut milk, vanilla, sea salt, maple syrup, and chia seeds to a jar. (Optional: toss in 1 teaspoon of lemon zest)

Allow to sit for 20 minutes, whisking every few minutes until the mixture thickens.
