This wholesome Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie includes spinach. It is a healthy way to start your day due to its fiber, minerals, and vitamins. If you have a peanut allergy, try this with almond butter.


2 medium ripe bananas

1 cup packed fresh spinach leaves

½ cup plain nonfat or 2% Greek yogurt

¼ cup creamy peanut butter

1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)

1-3 tablespoons milk of choice (see notes)

Honey, to taste


Add bananas, spinach, Greek yogurt, peanut butter, and chia seeds to the blender and blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as necessary.

Add milk to get the desired consistency and honey to sweeten.

Serve with desired toppings and enjoy.
