Summer Fig Almond and Parmesan Salad

This Summer Fig, Almond, and Parmesan Salad put many of summer’s most nutritious fruits and vegetables on display. Each of the main ingredients is a delicious and healthy source of calcium, a necessary mineral for overall health. Not to mention yummy for your tummy.


2–3 cups butter lettuce

1 avocado, sliced

3–4 fresh figs

2 stalks of celery, chopped

1 handful freshly cut Parmigiano-Reggiano

1/8 cup sliced almonds or walnuts

desired dressing of choice


Slice avocado, chop almonds, chop celery, and cut figs into bite-sized pieces.

Add on top of the lettuce greens

Top with any remaining ingredients and drizzle with dressing upon serving. Enjoy!
