Super Simple Salmon

It doesn’t get any easier or delicious than this Super Simple Salmon. The seasoning makes the difference between an okay fish and a yummy dish.  Add as much of a variety of herbs, including rosemary, and thyme to the garlic powder and basil, and enjoy!


1 Tbs. garlic powder

1 Tbs. Dried basil

½ tsp. pink or kosher salt

4 – 6 oz salmon

2 Tbs. butter

4 Lemon wedges


Stir together the garlic powder, basil, and salt in a small bowl; rub in equal amounts onto the salmon fillets.

Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat; cook the salmon in the butter until browned and flaky, about 5 minutes per side. Serve each piece of salmon with a lemon wedge.
